I almost didn’t post this blog because I began to question what others would perceive it as. I thought maybe others would see it and think that this World Race was just a big vacation; that we aren’t really doing much, but then I realized that What others think doesn’t dictate what is actually happening.

We have had the blessing and honor of being out in these other countries to bring glory to God. In the midst of that, God, being the good Father that He is, gives us gifts while we are out here.

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”

Matthew 7:11

One of those gifts was being able to climb a volcano! These pictures show off the teams, squad leaders, and coaches. Enjoy ya’ll.

(This was Paula and I’s pre-adventure before the hiking began. She is an excellent storyteller and has amazing pictures. Scroll below to see her blog link!)

(The adventure began with us actually on trucks driving in some intense terrain, I, unfortunately, did not have enough balance to take those shots. So enjoy the calmer beginning of this little adventure.)

(There were comfort objects brought on this excursion, we didn’t know what would happen; so obviously bring comfort objects.)

(The journey was long, but very much worth it! Picture credit goes to Jenna Watry, click her name and check out her blog. She recently wrote a fire blog!)

(Meet our Squad Leaders and Coaches! They are amazing and have been such an awesome help to us. Starting from the left-back, you have Brandon and Kati. Now from the left-front, we have Matt, Kathy, Ari, and Stephanie.)

(Meet our Team Leaders, they are super fun and have been killing it! It’s awesome cause they each have so much knowledge and understanding, and they don’t mind sharing it! Starting from the left, you have Raquel PortilloTito Torres, Jenn Paris, Lindsey Pruitt, and Jerome Beers. Click their names and check out their blog.)

(Meet team M.O.M! They are awesome and you already know two of them on here, but starting from the left-back, you have Aaron Moore who is a storyteller with amazing blogs, so check him out by clicking his name. The stuffed animal is representing Alli Taylor, then you have Lindsey Pruitt, Ari, and Scott Tinsely)

(Meet Team EK, also known as Ezer Kenegdo. From the left-back, we have Jenna BurtonAntoinette JohnsonRaquel PortilloKaris KononiukMary Grace Ervin, and the stuffed sloth represents Abbey Spiker. Abbey is a storyteller as well, with amazing photo blogs, so definitely check her out!)

(Meet Team Mosiac Daughters: from back-left, we have Jenna Watry, Madison Cooley, Paula Johnson who is another storyteller with amazing photo blogs, so check her out also! Coninuing in the back we have Elizabeth Wagstaff, then in the front, we have Jenn Paris and Rachel Preston.)

(Now this team seems much bigger than the rest, and that’s cause it is. This is actually two teams morphed into one. We lived in a pit together, and that lifestyle created the team that is known as Lightning Chasers. The combo of Stormchasers and Lightning. I love these guys and girls! We all crazy and fun in our unique ways. There is a lot of us so I’ll do my best. Starting from the left: Justin Bolton, Kati, Tito Torres, Brandon, Kev Thomas, Josiah Stilwell, Sarah Mounts, Lynneal Williams, Mary WilliamsVictoria GrovesJerome BeersJackie Ivarsson, and finally me.)

I hope ya’ll enjoy meeting the teams and seeing some of their band album pictures lol. We also have some models on this squad, so here are some of their pictures.

(There were more but you can go to my Facebook for those! Also, the second picture on the right belongs to Jenna Watry.)

Thank you Father for giving us good gifts. You love and care for us so much so that you are willing to just give us a day to hike and enjoy one another’s presence. Thank you for giving me the opportunity and skills to capture some of these pictures, and to share them that your glory may be shown. We love, honor, and give you glory! Amen.
