"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand himโ€”a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

This verse is amazing until I realized it requires you to choose to depend on others. It's a choice to have community, and it's a choice to use that community to its fullest (Knowing. Friends. Care. or KFC). I realize that I've had community this whole time but was not utilizing them. At the beginning of my race, I also realized that I wanted to get better at living in a community. God has been helping me a lot in that recently!

My birthday happened a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not much of a celebratory person (I'm learning that too), but my friends wanted to celebrate. The pictures below are where we went to watch part of the sunrise.

ย

I had amazing people with me for my birthday. I had Tito, Jenn, J, and Kev, who are all photogenic. So I got to capture them in unforgettable moments. I also Check it out!

These two pictures are my favorites, mainly because Jenn didn't realize how much of a model she was being. Whoever reads this, if you know a magazine looking for cool lookout point pictures, point them my way.

I loved being out with these guys and girls; not only was the view astounding, but they made my birthday start with a bang. Little did I know it would also end with a bang. I'll tell you now, so you have some scrolling room beforehand; if you don't do well with grotesque (exaggeration, but it doesn't look pretty) images, scroll past these following pictures. Anyway, I ended up getting into an accident that day and broke my hand. Through that, God has been showing me just how amazing the body of Christ is. Below is the picture of my messed-up hand, last warning.

God, thank you for remaining sovereign in all circumstances! Even in this accident, you took care of me and everyone with me. You protected us and kept everyone safe; even in my weakness, you remained strong. When there was nothing I could do, you did everything. Thank you for the grace and mercy and the forgiveness. Amen!
