It was a bittersweet moment learning about Team changes. I spent a lot of time learning and understanding team dynamic and community living with Team Lightning. They taught me so much, but I knew God had an amazing plan in the midst of the change. Though I said a sad goodbye to my two amazing sisters, I gained amazing brothers. Here is a small introduction to each one:
Squad Logistics
Iowa
From the moment I heard Josiah’s wilderness stories, I knew he was someone I had to get to know. He is someone that walks and speaks Truth while loving you well. His words are always well-written and beautiful.
Team Leader
Pennsylvania
Jerome is so wise and yet so fun! He is someone that I can talk about deep theological ideas that contain terms and theories from physics, then goof around and wrestle at one in the morning. I’m excited to have him as my Team Lead again.
Squad Safety Coordinator
Texas
Justin has such a deep desire to be close with God, that you can’t help but desire the same thing. He is a ball of goofiness and joy that makes goat noise because of the overflow of joy in his heart.
Squad Logistics
Oklahoma
Those that believe the gifts of the Holy spirit are gone and done away with clearly have not met Kevin. He walks in the prophetic, even if you don’t want to hear it sometimes hahaha. He interprets dreams and so much more. He is probably one of the most likable people I have ever been around. I’m glad to call him my brother!
Team Treasurer
Arkansas
Scott Loves and encourages deeply! He exemplifies living out what it means to use your words to build up and not tear down. He has a deep passion for living out God’s Love. He has learned the beauty of vulnerability and seeks to help others understand it. Truly a brother I need!
Raised Up Squad Leader
Texas
Tito is such a fun and enjoyable person, but don’t let it fool you; he is willing to ask the hard questions and call you higher, even amidst that fun. He states hard things in a funny and loving way.
Alumni Squad Leader
Indiana
Brandon is a man everyone should have in their corner. He is deeply caring and compassionate and loves to have fun. He cares for the individual and doesn’t let his role or job dictate what his friendships look like. He is someone that I look up to and hope to one day exemplify for someone else.
Story Intern – Field Writer
Mississippi
Aaron is amazing. His heart is full of the Father’s love and intimacy and he displays that in his everyday conversations and actions. He seeks the Father’s will like no one else; ask him to do anything and he will probably answer with, “let me pray about that.” He also loves worship and is a fellow Story Intern with me!
Story Intern – Field Photographer
Florida
That’s me, and if you would like to find out more read my blog For I know the plans. Where I write about the testimony God has given me.
